LIAF Awards

I was invited to collaborate with another designer to create the awards for the London International Animation Festival (LIAF), the UK’s largest and longest-running animation festival. LIAF showcases the best of independent animation and celebrates the creativity and diversity of the art form internationally. For this project, the concept was to capture motion and the spectrum of animation. We placed the LIAF logo between two acrylic blocks, CNC-cutting ridges into the surface to create a dynamic, corrugated effect that conveyed motion. To represent the spectrum of animation, we used a rainbow patina, carefully applied by blow-torching 1.5mm thick, brushed aluminium plates.
